God’s Judgment: The Third Shaking of America – September 2014-2015

The Third Shaking of America – September 2014-2015

The World Trade Center was a symbol of America’s global economic structure.  On September 11, 2001, we saw that structure fall, both the physical and the symbolic.  This collapse began the first great recession here in America.  That was the first shaking. Because America, as a nation refuses to repent of its sins and turn back to God, there was a second shaking, and there will be a third. If a nation has a spiritual issue, then no solution will fix it, whether political, economic, or military, but only repentance toward God.  If a nation continues to reject God’s call to repentance, then a second and third shaking follows the first.

On 9/11 I declared that it was God’s judgment on our nation for our sins, and so it was.  A nation’s that defies God’s judgment, short of repentance, sets in motion a second shaking, a second judgment. The War on Terror added billions of dollars to the federal budget, and took what otherwise might have strengthened the American economy.  The first economic impact of the 9/11 attack was that the New York Stock Exchange closed for six days.  It reopened on Monday, September 17, 2001, and suffered the biggest point crash in Wall Street History to that date. The Federal Reserve had lowered the interest rate by fifty points that day, eventually lowering it below the rate of inflation.  The severe slashing of those interest rates set in motion a chain of events that would bring down the American economy and with it the global economy.

When the American economy was shaken, the world economy was also shaken. The extreme interest rates began a time of easy borrowing and easy mortgages, which created the housing and building boom.  The slashed interest rates were copied by central banks across the globe, reproducing the effects all over the world.  The building boom only masked the problems set in motion.  The explosion in debt masked a multitude of hidden dangers in the economy.  The usual restraints in borrowing and lending were non-existent.  People bought houses they couldn’t otherwise have afforded.  In September of 2008, the American economy began to collapse again, causing the greatest economic disaster since the Great Depression, and further causing economic repercussions around the world.

Seven years after 9/11 the American economy partially collapsed, causing a global economic downfall. On September 7, 2008, the federal government seized control of Fannie Mae, the Federal National Mortgage Association and Freddie Mac, the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation, putting them under government control.  Their seizure caused global alarm.  On September 15, 2008, just one week later, Lehman Brothers, one of the world’s leading financial firms, filed for bankruptcy. When the mortgage market began to collapse, Lehman’s assets collapsed along with it. The fall of Lehman Brothers set off economic collapses from America to Asia, and around the world. Fortunes were wiped out overnight and suicides were rampant.

There was exactly seven years between the first economic downfall of America in September 2001 and the second in September 2008.  Seven years is the biblical time period for a nation’s economic cycle, the last year being the cancellation of debts. On God’s time table, the 29th day of Elul, usually sometime in September on our calendar, is the final and climactic day when all debts are forgiven or cancelled.  On September 29, 2008, the 29th day of Elul, Wall Street experienced its worst day in history, in point loss, 777 points. No human endeavor could be responsible for everything that had to happen for this to come about as it did. This was the second shaking of America by God’s hand of judgment, and the third is yet to come.

The greatest single-day stock market crash in Wall Street history happened on the 29th day of Elul, the final day of the Hebrew seven year Shemitah period. Shemitah can be translated as “the year of the fall.” The stock market crash of September, 17, 2001 was the first Shemitah, happening on the 29th day of Elul. The Shemitah is the key to the timing of coming Judgment from God.  The Shemitah is the seventh year.  It begins and ends in the month Tishri, the seventh month of the biblical year.  The next Shemitah, or year of the fall, begins in September 2014 and ends in September 2015, which coincides with the blood moons (lunar eclipses) of 2014 and 2015, which are also biblical signs for the nations that judgment is soon coming upon us if we don’t repent as a nation.

Michael Snyder, writing in the DCClothesline.com, states that the global derivatives bubble is now 20 percent bigger than it was just before the last great financial crisis struck in 2008 and concludes that: “A financial crisis far greater than what we experienced in 2008 is coming, and it is going to shock the world.”

By September of 2014-15, we should see a serious decline beginning in the stock markets, with billions of dollars in debt being cancelled. Next, we’ll likely see the housing market crash.  The firms holding the mortgages will then falter.  Shock waves will resound throughout the economic and financial structures, as some of the nations key lending institutions begin to fail. America’s financial downfall will lead to the global economic downfall. But though the global crises will begin in the financial realm, every major sector of the economy will likely be affected.  The crises will soon spread into labor, commerce, production, and consumption. Businesses will cease to exist and the dollar will likely crash, leading to a new world currency take-over. But don’t go buy gold or silver, thinking it will save you, buy garden seed and food, because you can’t eat silver and gold. Besides, God’s word tells us, “Your silver and gold won’t save you in your time of distress.”

And just how do we know that this is God’s judgment on America? America was consecrated to God in a church, now known as St. Paul’s Cathedral, in New York City, at the edge of what became known as Ground Zero. Ground Zero, was originally a field owned by that church, where we dedicated this country to God, and asked God’s protection over us.  When we turned our backs on God, God removed our hedge of protection, and we were attacked on the ground of dedication. When George Washington gave his speech of dedication, he said, “The propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right which Heaven itself hath ordained.” God won’t bless a nation that ignores the eternal, unchanging rules of morality. Thou shalt not kill, steal, lie, commit adultery, etc. are still God’s moral law.  God is calling us back to Himself, in repentance. America has lost its protection, the economy is about to collapse, prosperity will be a thing of the past, and with its loss will come a loss of global leadership. We’ve had our warnings, now comes the harsher judgment.

Just as Jeremiah watched over the land of Israel devoid of its fruitful harvests, we are now seeing major droughts and pestilences in our food production industry, which will affect every American citizen. The sign of the Shemitah is the sign given to a nation that has ruled God out of its life and put its trust in its own power and prosperity. The drought in California is predicted to be severe, resulting in a loss of 90 % of our produce supply.  The pork industry is experiencing a pestilence of biblical proportions as millions of hogs are dying from a deadly disease resulting in the price of pork being almost as high as that of beef.  The beef industry is at an all time low as well, with the price of beef skyrocketing out of control.  The grain production in the U.S. is suffering greatly as well.  If Americans don’t attempt to buy some seed now and grow their own gardens and raise a few chickens or rabbits, most will starve or at the least be hungry. Monsanto owns 95% of the world’s food seed supply.  The soon coming antichrist will control the world by controlling the food supply and the global economy.

Shortly after 9/11 the Department of Homeland security was established in reaction to the attack on America.  Since its creation, the federal government has purchased untold numbers of hollow point and other ammunition, not appropriate for military use, which is presumed to be eventually used against American citizens who will rise up in the chaos to be expected at the next collapse.  They have also purchased 30,000 guillotines for use in the U.S. along with many plastic coffins on site at FEMA camps. The Federal government, along with its helpers, the Russian troops that are now here on our soil, is expecting a major breakdown of the American way of life and will do whatever it takes to get control of the people.  Isaiah 9:11 says God will set up our adversaries against us and spur them on if we refuse to repent as a nation.  The passage goes on to say “the land will be burned up.” How many forest fires and droughts have we seen in the last seven years?  The passage finally asks us, “What will you do in the day of Judgment?  Who will you run to for help?” Indeed, Who, if not God, will we run too?  The antichrist?

God’s Word in 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “If my people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”  My question is, “Is it too late for us and is there enough of us left willing to bow the knees of our heart to the God of Heaven who calls to us?” We can’t ask God to bless America, if we aren’t willing to repent of our sins and hypocrisy before Him.  We have removed the Ten Commandments from our public structures, we are taking out the words “under God” from our pledge of allegiance, we have removed “In God we trust” from some of our money, we have slaughtered our innocents on the alter of selfishness in abortion factories, we have denied the law of marriage designed by God, we have withheld life with our abortifacient birth control, and we expect his blessings still?  Not so!

God calls us to the foot of the cross in repentance.  The only thing that remained of the World Trade Center among the rubble was a perfectly formed cross of cast iron beams.  The cross of Ground Zero calls us to repentance and faith that God will still forgive those who repent.  Jesus, our Savior, is our Salvation.  His hands are stretched out still, calling us to Him.  There is no safe haven where Jesus is not.  When we shut Christ out of our lives, we destroy our own selves.  We bring down fire and brimstone on our own heads.

May God forgive us and save one last mercy for those who are His!

Remembering 9/11 Attack on America

About mamaheartfilled

I am a mother of eight wonderfully challenging children and fourteen grandkids, of whom I am very proud. I am also a bi-vocational ordained evangelical minister, and a Christian Counselor. I received my B.S. degree in 2004, studying primarily in the areas of Psychology, with minors in Religion and English. I received my Masters Degree in 2009 in Psychological Counseling with an emphasis in Christian Counseling. I have endeavored to paraphrase the Bible, both Old and New Testaments. It is my hope that it will be of some use in the great commission of Christ. My ministry is primarily geared toward victims of sexual and domestic violence, including victims of childhood sexual abuse, whether currently or in the past. Since I have personally experienced the healing hand of God in overcoming many of the life issues that Christians may face, I feel qualified and compelled to discuss them in a truthful and open manner, as God’s word tells us that “We shall know the truth and the truth shall set us free.” God has brought me through such diverse tribulations as sexual, physical, and mental abuse, being a victim of a drunk driving accident, spousal pornography addiction, adultery, divorce, remarriage, a very brief, though unjust, incarceration, and having experienced multiple miscarriages and various other trials. I have been asked to leave two Southern Baptist Churches, due to my being a female, ordained as a minister, and fired from a SBC sponsored Christian School (mostly white) for speaking out against racial prejudice in the Family of God. Through God’s merciful forgiveness of my own sins and inadequacies and God’s grace given to me to forgive those who have been a stumbling block to me, I have overcome many of these adversities. God’s word tells us that “All things work together for good to those who love the Lord and are called according to the purposes of God." Since I have this hope, I believe that God has blessed me with the ability to confront and relate these issues to the Christian community around the world. I hope to be able to use my personal experiences as a ministry of God’s grace and in the comforting of the people of God with the truth of God's mercy. I claim II Corinthians 1: 3 & 4 as my calling, which states: “Blessed be God, the Origin of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Origin of mercies, and the God of comfort; who comforts us in all our troubles, that we may be able to comfort those who are in trouble, by the comfort we ourselves have been given by God.” As I have received the gift of God’s healing, I hope to be able to bring the peace beyond understanding to others with the message of God’s mercy and grace. My love for the Sovereign Lord of my life, Jesus Christ, along with my passion for writing has drawn me to explore these commonly experienced crisis issues from the perspective of my own experience in the hope that I may bring an empathetic and compassionate insight to God’s people. I am now a published author and have several books in publication, including my autobiography, "A Little Redneck Theology." The views expressed in my writings are strictly my own insights, acquired from personal experience and diligent study of the related topics and God’s word concerning them. Though I am an ordained minister, my views should not be considered authoritative. I believe that the Christian community’s ultimate authority is the guidance of the human heart by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.
