Herman Cain and Sarah Palin, anyone?

I just heard about a wonderful man, Herman Cain, who may be running for President in 2012.  I did some research to find out a little more about him and found that I really like him.  A survivor of cancer, Cain states, “When you look death right between the eyes, the faith that you had increases.” As a survivor of domestic violence, I can relate.  Herman Cain is pro-life, not a sleazy politician, a good businessman, humble enough to say he’d depend on experts where he’s not up to par on Foreign policy, and a black man who can contend against Obama.  Cain’s belief that Planned Parenthood was “put in black communities so they could help kill black babies before they came into the world” makes a statement for the pro-life cause and the black community. Speaking on race relations, Cain says, “Whether we will ever reach that utopian level of all men created equal and all men being treated equal, I don’t know. You know, the journey in life is to strive to be better and better every day, to strive to be more Christ-like. Whether or not any of us get to the level of Christ himself, I doubt it, because we are human.”  I wish he’d said, all men and women are created equal, but the thought was there. 

Now if we could just get Sarah Palin to run along side him. One article I read says this concerning Cain’s and Palin’s politics:”Calling his politics essentially the same as those of Sarah Palin and approving of Donald Trump’s incessant call for the Obama’s birth certificate, Cain has managed to take the Tea Party advocations that are least settling with the mainstream and color them with an entertaining and controversial character.”
Wouldn’t that be great; a white woman with good sense, and a black man with good sense? We’d likely get much of the women’s vote, a good deal of the black vote, and likely most or all of the Christian conservative vote as well.  “You see, evangelical Christians have the potential, if they vote in large numbers, to offset the union vote, to offset the gay vote, and to offset the vote of those that don’t particularly have any religion at all. And so that’s why it would be so critical,” states Cain.  We need to pray for this man, who is an ordained minister, as well.  He’s a godly man, who will lead this country back to where it needs to be.  If we had Palin along side him, we would have a team, who this country could know would do what’s right for the people.
